Our buddies from the ABC have just sent this in:

1. STORM IN A BUNGENDORE TEA CUP?
Residents of the little heritage town are alarmed and angry about the arrival of a big supermarket – and the fact that heritage buildings must make way for its carpark.

2. CANBERRANS TURNING 100
A gerontology conference looks at how to age well – and a number of Canberrans approaching their own centenaries talk about life – and death.

3. ELMA’S TALE
Elma Pearsall is 92 and was born at Rye Park near Booroowa. She is a Ngunnawal elder who has seen life – and wouldn’t change a day of it.

4. FREDWARDIAN DESIGN
Fred Ward’s furniture was once thought utilitarian – and now it’s highly prized – an exhibition and a book celebrate his work.

5. CAPITAL JAZZ
The annual jazz festival highlights the talent in the town – even after adjusting to last year’s cuts to the ANU School of Music’s program. Featuring the Ben Marston Quartet.

6. CLOSER: Jazz on the Deck overlooking the Lake. A performance by Liam Budge and Tate Sheridan.
