After the balls stop flying and the dust settled there was but one winner…. and it wasn’t me 🙁
This weekend saw a novice tourney organised by adventure Consultants and run on a Sup Air field, and holy crap was it fun :).
with seven teams competing from rank Newbie (Me never having played before) to people who have had a couple of runs before and competed in other novice comps before, also on hand were Apocalypse a Pro team from Sydney ran demos, Refereed the whole day and gave tips to newbies like me.
During the day there were fantastic moments like a team winning in 38 seconds, someone about to be bunkered (killed unaware) when the attackers gun ran out of gas before he could deliver the killer shot.
Kieran and his team from AP ran the show fantastically with a quick turn around with games, a great field and great assistance offered on or off the field.
Kieran also mention he will be looking at running another 3 Man tourney in the near future (June or July I can’t remember) and also the riotact day is coming up too I plan to be there 🙂
for those who are interested a team called Notorious (A/B??) came first defeating the Y fronts.
