I bet you have heard the song “Big Red Car” and “Hot Potato”, but have you heard “Boys Like Pink Too!” or “Completely Naked Beans”? These are just two of the fun, clever and original Childrens’ songs written by local singer/songwriter Derryth Nash. Recently described as having the voice of an angel and gigging locally at venues like the IronBar, Western Basement and Ojo’s with Dene Burton, she engaged audiences with her thoughtful and poignant originals and well known covers. Derryth is now channeling her inner child (with much inspiration from her own children) and currently trying to fund a full CD of her Children’s songs called “Ninja Nanny” through a POZIBLE Crowd Funding Campaign. If you would like to some new and original Children’s tunes going around in your head and would like to support her endeavor, please check out – http://www.pozible.com/project/174382. She is almost half way to her target but only has 10 days to go and if you pledge $20 for a CD, you can have bragging rights that you have already started your Christmas shopping!
