Well the verdict is in! The Stanhope Government has confirmend that many of the ACT’s public schools will indeed be closing over the next few years.

While the list has been reduced it is clear that the decision is the one half decent thing that goodold Jonny S has made during his time in office, and most likely the only one that he’ll be remembered by.

This whole thing has caused so much anger and tiff that at times the public must feel at least a bit sorry for the poor bloke, I mean closing schools isnt the nicest thing its clear that it needs to happen, if not the already struggling ACT would end up in even more dept and then well we would all be stuffed! the most shocking was the case of the Tuggeranong suburb of Kambah were several of the schools that serve the community are indeed being shut down. Yes this may hurt in some ways but think if you take a school like Kambah High and Mt Neighbour you’ll see that the building them selves are very old and crappy but also the enrolments are the lowest of record. Now what is the point of keeping those schools open to see the next millenium? So give Jonny S a break, after all he is slightly touched.
