Distinguished Professor Arthur Georges will talk about his experiences in lowland New Guinea from the Indonesian border through the Transfly to the spectacular Kikori Delta. While the focus of his travels is on biology, and turtle biology in particular, he will share with us some of his engagement with the local people and their astonishing cultural wealth. Adventure with an admixture of science and natural history.
