A man and a woman have been arrested in a carpark in Goulburn as part of investigations into the alleged supply of the drug ‘ice’ throughout the area.

Shortly after 7:00 am yesterday (13 November), a 27-year-old woman was found with drugs allegedly in her possession.

A 53-year-old man was also with the woman at the time.

Shortly after, strike force investigators executed a search warrant at a home in Goulburn and a home in Marulan.

Officers located and seized drugs, fireworks, electronic surveillance equipment, cash and mobile phones.

The woman has been charged with 44 counts of supplying prohibited drugs, three counts of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, one count of supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs and possession of a prohibited drug.

The 53-year-old man has been charged with five counts of supplying prohibited drugs, possession of a prohibited drug and handling explosives (fireworks) without a permit.

Both have been refused bail and appeared before Goulburn Local Court today.

In May 2019, Strike Force Rosseau was established by the Hume Police District to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Goulburn area.

The man and woman were arrested following extensive investigations by strike force officers.

Police inquiries are continuing.
