Fewer than 50 of nearly 300 apartments in the almost completed Black Diamond development in Greenway remain available for sale.

The three-building development is stage two of the Aspen Village precinct, which comprises another sold-out residential property by the same name and ground floor commercial space for retail, hospitality and lifestyle establishments.

Black Diamond comprises one-bedroom apartments from $413,000, two-bedroom apartments from $489,000, and three-bedroom apartments from $833,000.

Adam Morgan of Adam Morgan Property Agency said the development represented an excellent opportunity for owner-occupants and investors alike to snag a brand new property that’s already built.

“We’re just doing inspections on the final apartments now for those who have already purchased, and settlement is imminent,” he said.

“These apartments are beautiful – bright, ultra-modern, contemporary design with open-plan living and Blanco appliances.

“It’s urban living in a convenient location with unrivalled amenities.”

Said amenities include access to The Summit – a 2200 sqm entertainment space that residents are invited to treat as a “year-round extension” to their apartments.

With panoramic views over Canberra, it features an impressive heated infinity pool (which includes a lap lane), sauna, barbecues, firepits, dining facilities, lounge areas, a bar and a chef’s kitchen that can be privately booked via residents’ online portal.

“I can see residents hosting families and friends, gathered around the firepits in the cooler months with hot chocolate or having barbecues and cold beverages by the pool in summer,” Mr Morgan said.

He added that Black Diamond enjoyed a covetable position within Greenway.

“Whichever side of Black Diamond you’re positioned, you’ll have a lovely view,” he said.

“On one side you’re looking over Lake Tuggeranong and the suburbs and the other aspect looks over the Brindabellas. You’ll catch beautiful sunsets and natural vistas over mountain ranges.

“Exciting plans” for the retail, hospitality and lifestyle establishments on Aspen Village’s ground floor were only part of the lifestyle picture, according to Mr Morgan.

“Black Diamond is the conclusion of apartment living in that area and all sorts of cafes and restaurants are popping up right on its doorstep.

“All the other buildings that have settled there are flanked by exciting establishments, so it’s really growing into a thriving lifestyle community.”

Nestled between the buzz of the city and the serenity of the Brindabellas, Mr Morgan said Greenway also offered “ultra convenience”.

“It’s on the doorstep of the Tuggeranong CBD, so it’s supported by a major transportation hub,” he said.

“It has Core Commonwealth government departments, shops, schools and amenities all within walking distance.”
