I do that every ANZAC Day, and then march.

Lest we forget….

I wholly concur Thumper; we owe a debt to our heroes. The debt is that we should not become a nation of spineless pussy tree huggers, and that every ANZAC day we get up before the sun and take a few moments to remember them.

Not a big ask really.

Personally I have nothing but admiration for ex Diggers, pussers and flyboys. Without them I doubt very much that we’d have the country we have now.

But then again, I do have a slight bias.

And all the important buildings around the lake will be lit up red!

Just thought I’d throw that in… Well, it was either that or I’d let you all know I love fly overs. I also love turning to the person next to me and saying things like “you wouldn’t have a chance, mate’ or ‘by the time you heard it you’d already be dead’.

ahhh, there you go again b. missing the point. I just believe in tact and taste, subtle as opposed to heavy handed.

looking at the program, with a few exceptions, it generally sounds like a well thought out couple of days.
