To celebrate Refugee Week, you’re invited to Walk Together from Reconciliation Place at 1pm, across Commonwealth Avenue Bridge, to Stage 88 at Commonwealth Park.
Join us for the walk at 1pm and a celebration concert at Stage 88 from 2pm.
This event is an opportunity for all Canberrans to join together in celebration of diversity and inclusion.
Hosted in 15 cities around Australia, it will be an opportunity for all people – Aboriginal Australians, refugees, migrants, international students, long term Australians – to symbolically demonstrate our multicultural reality and call for an end to the politics of fear, division and prejudice.
