Police want the public’s help to identify five men believed to be involved in the alleged assault of a 55-year-old man on Christmas Day 2023.
ACT Policing said that at around 9:10 pm on 25 December 2023, police heard the man was allegedly being assaulted by several others in Barton.
Police believe the man had approached a group of men playing loud music from their car on Macquarie Street.
The group allegedly assaulted him before fleeing the scene but then returned a short time later and went into a nearby hotel room.
Police have now released closed-circuit television footage of five men believed to be involved in the alleged assault.
