A man was allegedly assaulted with weapons by two people outside his Franklin home, requiring him to be hospitalised.

ACT Policing said two men were seen “acting suspiciously” outside the window of the home before they were confronted by the home’s resident at around 2 am on Sunday (11 August).

The pair allegedly used weapons to assault the resident and demanded his car keys.

They then allegedly fled in a Mitsubishi Lancer, which was recovered in Dickson later that day.
