Water bombing helo for a 10m fire at Blue Range Hut

The ACT Rural Fire Service is working to extinguish a grass and scrub fire burning at Blue Range Hut in the Uriarra Forest.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

The ACT Rural Fire Service has multiple units on scene including a water bombing helicopter and a Remote Area Firefighting Team.

The fire is located in pine forest in the Blue Range Hut area.

The fire is approximately 10 metres in size and is being controlled.

The ACT Rural Fire Service has multiple units on scene including a bulldozer which has built a containment around the fire.

The fire is located in pine forest in the Blue Range Hut area.

The fire is approximately 20 metres x 20 metres in size and is under control.

The ACT Rural Fire Service is working to extinguish a grass and scrub fire burning at Blue Range Hut, Uriarra Forest.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

The ACT Rural Fire Service has multiple units on scene.

The fire is located in pine forest in the Blue Range Hut area.

The fire is approximately 30 metres x 30 metres in size and is under control. Crews have contained the fire and anticipate to have it extinguished by approximately 8 o’clock tonight.

The ACT Rural Fire Service has extinguished the grass and scrub fire at Blue Range Hut.

Three heavy tankers, one bulk water carrier, two medium tankers, one water bombing helicopter and a bulldozer were used to extinguish the fire which was suspected to have started from lightning.
