What else would one drive to Costco? Images of Canberra

stretched hummer at coscto

Comic_and_Gamer_Nerd has sent in the above with this note:

Someone bumped a old thread asking about stretch hummers for hire. Took this pic @ costco a couple weeks ago. the plates are yellow but said A.C.T on them. A family got out and went into Costco but i doubt its their everyday driver and it would have to be for hire.

COSTCO EYE GLASSES SO CHEAP. Got a quote from a well known optometrist for multi-focal lenses to fit my own frames. Nearly $600 , even after MBF rebate!!!! Went to Costco. Top range lenses, including UV coating, anti glare etc $97. Amazing!

You do know that if you buy it they will hold it until you get the trailer and come back, don’t you? A friend of mine bought a TV and some whitegoods and they held it until the next day when I was able to go back with him and pick it up in my car.

That I did NOT know. Thanks. Had called previously to ask them to hang on to them before I could get someone to come out and get them, and they said that wasn’t possible, but purchase then ask for storage seems a novel way to approach it.

Always buy first, then ask for them to hold it 🙂 If they say no, ask for a refund. 99% of businesses will hold it for a day or two for you.

Could use something like that to pick up the Walden 5 shelf storage unit though. Bastard thing sells like hotcakes and wasn’t in stock last time I was there with a trailer.

Well, if you’re gonna buy in bulk, I guess sometimes the family wagon just ain’t big enough.

And now for the off-road test. I kind of enjoy the humour of these things. Not meant to be tasteful – like costco.

Who else would be seen in such a trashy, tacky piece of shite. I can’t believe people have them as wedding cars, get some taste.
