What's up with the new Uni Pub work?

As things were, the parking spaces along that block weren’t wide enough, particularly for commercial/trades vehicles which tended to hang out into the traffic. Hopefully the new work will either recess the parking spaces into the footpath or get rid of them altogether.

You’re confusing the work on the footpath out the front with the Uni Pub work. The footpath work is a continuation of similar work that’s been going on all around Civic. The Uni Pub work is in the building, and on the other side of the building where they’re building a beer garden. All the work on that development is still stopped.

I think the Madam’s point of posting was to whine about a bit of glass and a couple of cars parking.
