I wish I was a whisky drinker. It seems like such a sophisticated thing, to hold a heavy glass in your hand with golden liquid slinking its way around the bottom. It feels like it would insert an element of NY gangster into my work at home life.
So to all you whisky drinkers out there, I solute you. And, remind you that the University of Canberra will play host to Whisky Live this weekend.
Over 100 whiskies will be open for tasting, along with whisky seminars and an old and rare whisky bar.
Get along and celebrate your whisky drinking coolness and if you have any tips to breaking a red wine swilling palate into the whisky market I would be most pleased.
