Domestic Violence Crisis Service is hosting a Charity Barefoot Bowls Day on Sunday 28th November to raise awareness for White Ribbon Day – International day for the Elimination of Violence .
It will be a fun day out for the whole family. There will be lawn bowls, raffle (1st prize = $1000 cash), BBQ (gluten free food will be available) , ice creams, fairy floss, popcorn, jumping castle, face painting and Gecko Gang activities.
On the day we will be encouraging all men who attend to take the White Ribbon Oath – not to use violence or be silent about violence towards women. Choice Home Loans will be donating $1.00 for every ‘Oath’ made on the day to White Ribbon Day Foundation.
