Your chance to shine in a gruen type ad

The following message in from Asher Floyd:

Hi Everyone,

The ACT has been voted Australia’s least favorite tourist destination! Bearcage (where I work) has been given the job of creating a mock tourism ad for Canberra (think ‘The Gruen Transfer’ except not). The ad will feature on Stateline.

We need actors urgently! The shoot takes place on Wednesday (during daylight hours).

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

The actors will simply need to look bemused, like fish out of water (no speaking required). We’re looking for:

– a Suburban Style Family:
– Mum
– Dad
– Girl under 10
– Boy about 10

– two Surfies
– males, 20 to 35

– two Bushwalkers
– a couple, male and female 40 – 65

– three Schoolies
– 15 – 22
– two males, one female

Unfortunately, Bearcage is being paid nil for this project – so we have little to offer, other than a good time and a chance to be on TV!

But, hell, you’re only required for 2 hours – and this will be a fun job to hang on the mantle piece. We can supply copies to everyone involved.
