thank god that i have an am radio. no 106 for me, i did catch part of it this morning, in the shower, but if mark goes to 2cc, good luck to him. I won’t be listening though, I prefer 1053 2ca.

Mr Magoo may or may not be someone who works in radio Zanzibar01 but doubtful it’s the man himself, I think he goes by another name on here and most rioters would probably know who it is (I can’t remember exactly who right now but this is definitely not your man).

Of course he wont go back to 106, seeing as they boned him… And all the talk of the new show doing better is spin from the sation management, I don’t know how anyone can listen to those two bumble their way through a show everyday without wanting to wrap their car around a tree on the way to work just for some relief. They are sooooo FAKE!!! I think she is just opinionated for the sake of being opinionated and he’s just licking her butt because he can’t get by on his own, he sounds like he droppped out of high school because he couldn’t pass the general or special ed classes, Mr Magoo this guy is about as genuine as a Chinese knock off.

How many times has their rivals 104 lost the breakfast ratings over the last however many years (except for earlier this year)and because of this have hung their hat moreso on the fact they have the most listeners across the board? There are a lot of different ways you can manipulate the facts to say you’re the number one station in town.

The way these people attempt to defecate on our minds everyday with their unfounded opinions, repetition and insincerity I’m suprised more of us don’t have axes to grind.

Zanzibar quite not so my friend. I’m more of a follower of local media and certainly have no axe to grind. I listen to the other half of Canberra FM anyway in the morning.

In reference to the new combination doing well I am not surprised spin or not. Cam sullings is a good bloke and a good personality radiowise and pretty genuine. I think he very much stepped into a hot seat, given that if the rumours about Parton and Ridgeley’s falling out were true.

I must admit I miss the days when 104.7 and 104.3 were housed seperately and owned seperately, I don’t quite understand how they can compete against each other when they live and work in the same building.

You sound like someone who may work around radio. Referring to 106 as Canberra FM? I suspect that you could be Mark Parton himself. Still got an axe to grind?

Either way, I’m sure he wouldn’t go back to 106 (or 106 wouldn’t have him back). I read recently that the morning show is doing well since he left. Not sure if that was their own spin, or something official.

But didn’t Parton ‘claim’ in a media article that his departure from FM Radio wasin part due to the need for him to take a backseat so his wife could concentrate on her acreer for a while? Or was that spin in the face of the rumours that Lisa Ridgely had told Canberra FM management its him or me?
