Cell Block 69 – Xmas with Corey.
Do they know it’s Xmas time at all in Canberra ? If they don’t yet, they certainly will by the end of the night on Sat the 22nd of December at the ANU Bar and Stadium Refectory.
Do Canberran’s like it hot? Cell Block 69 certainly do.
Corey Axlerod has just completed his PHD in Rock Physics. He is now a professor of Rock moves. He knows exactly of all the things that move Rock and he knows exactly what Rock moves. That’s some really deep and heavy stuff. Like a boulder ! A Rock n Roll Boulder ! That’s how Rock Cell Block 69 are going to be. Axelrod now has the dance moves and guitar poses to rival the most danciest and guitar playing posing thing ever ! He did mention that these talents come with great responsibility though. He also notes that the mentioning of your “explosive dance moves” in the company of airport security staff does not come without consequences. As a result, Axelrod now has a fear of latex gloves.
Corey RoKK SiXXXxxXXX is ecstatic about visiting Canberra. Both his arm transplants are doing well. He says that choosing a female arm really allows him to apply a feminine touch to life’s delicate matters…. RoKK SiXXXxxXXX has a new lust for life and has recently taken up surfing. He’s very excited to hear of Cell Block 69’s plans of travelling to Canberra. “ I can’t wait to bring my board to Canberry and drop into some tubes at your famous Murrumbidgee beaches. I just hope the surfers of Canberry aren’t too territorial. Ha ha – Territorial ! The Australian Capital Territorial ! Get it? You see what I’m doing with that !”.
Cell Block 69 will be joined by one man band Rock Extraordinaire Leisure Suit Lenny. “It’s uncanny “, explains one famous Corey from Canberra who normally joins Cell Block onstage for their annual Final Show Ever™. “He looks just like me ! Imagine both of us being in the same place at the same time. I wonder if that will happen”….
