For a night of fun, grooves and blues belting tunes to make you laugh, cry and dance.

MARLENE CUMMINS, with her Koori Woman blues belting style, takes you on the journey of her vulnerability, strength and survival, with long-standing friends and musicians forming the Blues Experience Band: “Red Wiggle” Murray Cook, Calvin Welch, (Christine Anu, The Party Boys, Earth, Wind & Fire), Rex Goh, (Air Supply, QED with Jenny Morris & Renee Geyer, Eurogliders, Phil & Tommy Emmanuel Band, Savage Garden, Randy Crawford & Tom Jones), US bass master extraordinaire Craig Calhoun (Marcia Hines and toured with Diana Ross, and Heather King.

Performing original music from her album Koori Woman Blues, as well as hits from great Blues artists (Koko Taylor, Big Mama Thornton and Etta James), Marlene presents a show packed with great energy, humour, passion and a few cultural lessons thrown in.

Support act is critically acclaimed Don Hopkins, one of Australia’s finest Blues pianists, with his New Orleans Gumbo stylings, he’ll have you up on that dance floor from the very first tune!
