Just arrived in Canberra for a new job and was walking around Kingston and spotted signs at a place called Cusacks advertising a 100% off sale

Gee, this is truly the land of milk and honey 🙂 100% off.

Will try to get some time this weekend to check this out but anyone else know what the go is? Surely they can’t be giving stuff away.

I bought from them a few years ago and given the condition of my ‘quality’ leather lounge, I won’t even take anything off them for free.

lol just what i was thinking…that place is a 70’s time warp gone bad…i think you should keep negotiating on the 100% discount, you’ll be out of pocket hauling it to the dump afterwards

+1

I bought from them a few years ago and given the condition of my ‘quality’ leather lounge, I won’t even take anything off them for free.

I can’t even find their FB page!!!

Hi madcapper

welcome to Canberra

I just saw the ad on the box last night during the news. The deal seems to be that there is a bunch of items that are free – at the end of the ad it says to go to the Cusacks Furniture FaceBook page

So, as you do, that is what I did.

You get clues there to what the products might be.

Quite a cute idea

I thought they might just be giving away small things but on the FB page someone has already one something worth 3K

So, might actually give the game a go myself

BTW Cusacks is like an instutution in Canberra, been around for as long as I can remember – sad to see them go from Kingston but I think they are also in Fyshwick (If you have not found Fyshwick yet, you really should do yourself a favour 🙂
