The man is still being treated for serious head injuries at The Canberra Hospital.

Police are urging anyone who saw the man prior to the assault, or who witnessed the assault to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the website www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

I went there last year to meet a mate who lives that side of town.( never even thought to go o Vikings) for a quick beer and catch up. Man it’s still such a god damn s***hole. I used to drink regularly at dives like kambah inn, statesman and whatever the gratin changed its name too and Chisholm, even after its supposed family friendly upgrade is still the grossest.

I think you’ll find it’s ‘family friendly’ in the way that Summernats is ‘family friendly’.

Summernats is a daycare centre compared to Chisholm Tavern on a Saturday night.

Kambah Inn has a shedload of atmosphere compared to that absolute dump, the ‘Chissy’ hasn’t improved a bit over the decades..Only matched by Kippax’s Moby Dicks in exposed chipboard elegance,
