Police search for Good Samaritan who helped woman after alleged assault in Bonner

ACT Policing is hoping to identify a person who helped a woman in distress in Bonner last Thursday (25 January) night.

A woman was allegedly assaulted at the roundabout of Roy Marika St and Essie Coffey St, Bonner, at about 10:45 pm.

It’s believed it was part of a family violence incident.

A person, believed to be either a nearby resident or passer-by, helped the woman by interrupting the altercation.

Police have asked for this person to come forward to help with their investigation.

Officers would also like to speak with anyone else who may have witnessed or heard the alleged incident.
