ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a car fire which occurred in Dooland Court, Nicholls early yesterday morning (Saturday, June 1).

Around 2.30am, police arrived at the Dooland Court house after ACT Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a car on fire.

The silver Mazda 3 was parked in the driveway of the house and sustained significant damage as a result of the fire.

The resident of the house and people residing in the street reported hearing a loud bang which alerted them to the car fire. Police are treating the fire as suspicious.
