We just received word of two partial road closures happening over the next week.
First up Flemington Road:
The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that there will be a partial road closure on Flemington Road between the intersections at the Federal Highway and Randwick Road between 6 am and 5 pm on Saturday 15 June and Sunday 16 June 2013.
The following detours will be in place:
— Traffic travelling from Federal Highway will not have access to Flemington Road, but will be able to exit onto the Barton highway and turn right onto Randwick Road.
— Flemington Road will be accessible for commuters travelling from Mitchell towards Federal Highway.
— Access to EPIC will be available heading south from Mitchell or via Stirling Avenue.
— Access to Kamberra Wine Company will be available through Federal Highway only.
Secondly we have Lady Denman Drive and McCulloch Street closed at Cotter Road Intersection:
The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that Lady Denman Drive and McCulloch Street will be closed at the intersection with Cotter Road from 8 pm Friday 14 June 2013 to 6 am Monday 17 June 2013, and 8 pm Friday 21 June 2013 to 6 am Monday 24 June 2013.
The closures are to allow for works associated with stage 1 of the Cotter Road upgrade.
Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people to the closures.
They’ve also given us a nice map:
