Modern Domain Builder feedback

Hi – has anyone had a building experience with Modern Domain Builders? We are looking at possibly building with them but there isn’t too much information “out there” about the company, except that they have won a HIA award. Thanks!

Please check out THOROUGHLY any builder you are thinking of using, although even then you have no guarantees. The best way is to get a recommendation. I didn’t do enough homework on mine. What a nightmare. It has been one of the most stressful experiences of my life. I have to say that everyone I know who has built a house in Canberra has had a rough time. It’s a pity we can’t name and shame. Maybe then they would lift their game. Personally, I think builders should be banned from Canberra.

The HIA award was for “custom build, $500,000-$750,000” if that helps any.

Apparently not.

My only thought is that an HIA award is worth slightly less than the paper it’s printed on.
