- The upgrade of the Hawker facility has been funded under this program to deliver a synthetic surface which meets FIFA’s highest two-star rating. The surface at Hawker is now at the same standard used by professional leagues in Europe.
This facility will give the Canberra community, especially the people of Belconnen access to a year-round, multi-purpose sports facility, helping to maintain our position as the most active and healthy community in Australia.
