Murder in Holder ?

I happened to be at a friends house last night in Holder when there was a large number of Police cars started showing up down the road then forensics’s etc.

They put high fences up with blue tarps and had a big lighting system on pole lighting up the whole block and generators running.

My friend spoke to a police officer searching around in the park across the road and apparently he said he cant say anything but there had been a murder at the scene.

I drove past this morning on the way to work and it had been all packed up and gone.

Anyone else have any more information on what may have happend ?

UPDATE: AFP Media have been in touch with the following statement:

Neither police nor forensics attended an incident of significance in Holder during the period described.

Juniper62 Ok lets not put this “story” to rest. Lets hear it in its full tragedy. There are so many questions about this “story” yet to be answered. Would this be the same “story” that appeared in the Canberra Times letters section yesterday, written by the family. Maybe someone could find it and post.

This is the kind of story that cant be let to rest. Not now, not ever. Its a bloody outrage.

ok everyone lets put this one to rest. It was a very sad story, a young boy overdosed and died, end of story…….let the family grieve

I also had a weird experience on the weekend. I was sitting out on my deck on Saturday and saw three small baloon shaped flying objects moving quite quickly through the air without gaining altitude. There was literally no wind at all so they couldn’t be balloons. All seemed to be following the same path and two were almost in formation. I wonder if AFP know about this as well.

Hingo – were they black, and over West Belconnen? I saw one too – put it down to a balloon, and later realised it didn’t have the characteristic wobble, gain height, or change speed… not to mention the speed of travel seemed greater than wind speed (certainly at ground level)… wonder what it was? Maybe we were having a visit from Darth Maul?

Yep it came from that area. I am in Ngunnawal and saw them heading towards Hall/Gundaroo direction. 2 were fairly close together and the third was a bit behind.

ACT State Complex at Unwin Pl, where a whole bunch of local administration buildings are stored (instead of at AFP HQ).
I think the AFP CIO’s office is there too.
