It was meant to be a Sunday Fun Day in the sun at GIO Stadium, but Argentinian side Jaguares spoiled the party, beating the Brumbies 25-20.

The Brumbies finished off a disastrous round for Australian sides, by putting in one of their worst performances of the season.

In front of 8,053 fans, the Canberra side had the chance to close the gap on the Australian conference leaders after the Waratahs, Reds and the Rebels all lost over the weekend.

But due to school-boy errors, the Brumbies failed to gain ground on the leading pack in a frustrating performance.

Kids still had a great day out with plenty of activities and an opportunity to meet fan favourite Henry Speight after the match, to help him celebrate his 100th Super Rugby match.

Local photographer Ben Appleton from Photox was at the game to capture all the action on and off the field.
