The ABC have a story on comments by someone claiming to be Chief Magistrate Magistrate of the ACT, a Mr. Ron Karl.
Any fule kno that the Chief Magistrate is Ron Cahill. Certainly they know it over on Stateline.
In any event, and whoever it is, he’d like some sanity in determining budgets for our courts.
He told the Legislative Assembly committee that before a budget is allocated, a review is needed into the obligations and functions of the courts and how much is needed to ensure those functions operate effectively.
