Simon Corbell is asking for people willing to take the heat for his carbon action targets (note: there are no plans):
Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water, Simon Corbell, has called for nominations to the ACT Climate Change Council that will help guide the Territory towards carbon neutrality.
“I encourage anyone committed to addressing climate change who has appropriate experience and knowledge to nominate themselves for the ACT Climate Change Council and play an active role in supporting our community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate change impacts,” Mr Corbell said.
“The ACT Climate Change Council will have up to nine members with a broad range of skills to help identify and address barriers to achieving a dynamic and low carbon economy and society.
