The Australian War Memorial is trying to keep up with the times. Well sort of, and for a cultural institution they are doing better then most.
They have recently started experimenting with new (almost new) technology like podcasting and blogging. They have recently added some Podcasts of their curators and historians giving some talks.
They have also recently started a Blog about their forthcoming exhibition on Lawrence of Arabia.
At this stage it’s not getting much interest but I think that is just a case of lack of promotion. It will be interesting to see how this experiment works and if they keep it up. Does anyone else know of any other institution or government agencies that doing similar?
