The difference between the signs you refer to and the electronic message I refer to is, the stop, give way etc. signs are necessary whereas the electronic message reminding us all of the constant threat of getting a speeding ticket are unnecessary.

Maybe they could change them to keep a running tally on the $$$ spent on self promotion and how that will increase water/electricity costs.

The public would find that much more usefull.

There are too many signs, have a look on your way home, all the various road signs (you get lines of speed change signs, you can see them), info signs, angry signs about not doing this or that… and then these flashing signs.

Can the over the road signs play movies, just so we have something to do while waiting in the traffic delays due to the constant roadworks.
