Arguably the biggest band in the country right now, Spacey Jane is making their return to Canberra this weekend. Instead of the confines of Transit Bar, they’ll be playing two massive shows under the lights of the Canberra Theatre. Supported by Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, these shows prove just how far the indie rock four-piece from Perth has come in the past 18 months.
The Ralph Wilson Theatre at Gorman Arts Centre plays host to its first post-COVID concert on Saturday as John Sharkey III celebrates the launch of his new record, Shoot Out The Cameras. Fellow Canberran Nick Craft will also be performing at this all-local night of live music.
Elsewhere, singer-songwriter Nina Leo joins Flowermarket and Drive Safe on Sunday for Gang Gang Cafe’s A Summerless Sunday. John Mackey’s Melting Pot and versatile singer Katie Noonan are both set to appear at The Street Theatre throughout the week.
