Where to buy half wine barrels around Canberra?

Wholesale sleeper company definitely.I think from memory they are about $50/$60. Just ensure that you put enough holes and larger stones in the bottom for drainage, especially if it’s going to be out in the open where it can get rained on. We planted an apple tree in ours and with all the rain last year it ended up a very smelly quagmire. Luckily spotted what was going on and saved the tree.

If they sell them whole, all you need is a circular saw to cut them. Then just consider the following:

– Do you own a Circular saw and know how to use one;
– The safety issue of using a circular saw;
– The cost of calling the winery, unless you are using your employers phone it’s free to you, then again if your employer is the APS you’re costing all of us;
– The cost of travelling to the winery i.e. your time, petrol, general wear and tear on your vehicle, are you towing a trailer (add more wear and tear and petrol); and
– the quality of the cut that you will make using the circular saw.

Wow, I’ve really over considered this post.

Also:
-How much time you spend tasting;
-How long it takes you to get back under the limit; and most importantly
-How much wine you end up buying.

On second thoughts if you buy wine it’s definitely worth it. Good work eily for pointing that out.

Wineries will often ditch theirs, as they get some kind of bacterial contamination which will taint the wine. How you find a winery in the process of ditching though is the issue.

We got some really good ones from Bunnings. Cheap too.
