The first Ugly Sambuca ‘Band Night’ is on Saturday June 18 at the Old Canberra Inn, Lyneham. The night will feature local band Quagmire’s ‘CD Showcase’ of their four track Ep titled “Muchacho”. Supporting Quagmire will be Beth Monzo and Dan Banks.
The Just Bands website had this to say about Quagmire, “…these boys are pretty good!! The recording of “Muchacho” matches the live sound of these lads. Tight harmonies, nice acoustic guitar based sound.”
Entry is free & there will be prizes given away during the night to some lucky people who come through the door. The night will also feature the ‘Ugly Sambuca’ girls previewing a new range of Ugly Sambuca merchandise.
The ‘Band Nights’ are sponsored by Top Car Mobile Automotive Detailing and will be presented at the Old Canberra Inn every four to six weeks featuring upcoming & well known artists from Canberra & interstate.
