A man in his 80s has died with COVID-19 as the ACT records 1508 new cases in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday.
There are now 28 people in hospital, including four in intensive care with three being ventilated.
This brings the number of active cases in the ACT to 6302. Yesterday there were 938 new cases.
A total of 4436 negative test results were received in the 24 hours to 9 am today.
The number of ACT residents aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated remains steady at 98.5 per cent, while 24.3 per cent of that cohort have received a booster shot.
NSW has recorded another 25,870 new cases in the last 24 hours. There are 315,785 active cases, of which 170 are currently in intensive care.
On Monday, there were 20,293 new COVID-19 cases and 2030 in hospital, with 159 people in intensive care.
Of people aged above 16 in NSW, 95.1 per cent have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination.
Victoria recorded 19,491 new cases and 13 deaths.
Yesterday there were 34,808 new cases and two deaths.
Across Australia, there are currently an estimated 587,971 active COVID-19 cases and 324 people are currently in intensive care.
