It’s the last week of school holidays which means it’s also the last week of Canberra’s winter festival! Skate at the rink in Civic Square, grab a hot chocolate by the fireplaces, watch ice sculptures come to life like it’s a scene from Frozen, and check out the festival offers from surrounding local businesses, including SuperEmoji and Braddon Flowers.

Canberra Symphony Orchestra plays Handel’s Messiah

The world’s most-performed work of classical music was written in just under a month by George Frideric Handel, and while it’s traditionally performed around Christmas, Canberra Symphony Orchestra couldn’t wait. Neither can we.
