Blues fans (and Wiggles fans) will get the chance to see the original red Wiggle in the flesh at Harmonie German Club on Friday night. Murray Cook’s Soul Movers are one of the country’s most sought-after party bands, playing music that spans the sounds of the 60s and 70s. They’ll be joined by locals, The Sunbears.
The National Multicultural Festival is returning to Garema Place this weekend. As usual, the lineup is sprawling and varied, featuring the likes of Mitch Tambo, Lisa Hunt, James Morrison and Parvyn.
Writer and musician Kae Tempest is set to bring their enigmatic and devastating form of spoken word to the capital later this week. They’ll be performing songs from their fourth album, The Line Is A Curve, at The Playhouse on Monday evening.
