Acting as a home for improvised, experimental, and generally left-field sounds for 14 years, SoundOut Festival will return to the Drill Hall Gallery this weekend across five sessions. Expect free improvisation, invented instruments, electronics and plenty of sonic surprises.
Canberra’s own Sesame Girl is on tour this month, celebrating the release of their debut EP Lucky Charm. The dream pop outfit will be hitting sideway on Friday night with Parklands and Spouse in support.
SummerSalt festival is headed to Commonwealth Park this Friday. Catch the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, Ben Harper, Alex The Astronaut, The Rubens, and City and Colour performing on Stage 88 from 4 pm.
