All Bar Nun might be dead and lamented but, while the horny handed sons of toil beaver away to create whatever it is that will take over the site, the Inner North drinker at least still has a corner to sit on in O’Connor.
Much of the All Bar decor has re-appeared in Marinetti’s.
When I was there last night there were some Marinetti’s regulars stumbling in bug eyed about what had been done to their regular dining haunt.
But a scaled down All Bar is not a bad spot for the O’Connor and Turner crowd to meet up.
The layout has had some considerable work done, and probably needs some fine tuning as you’d expect.
It’s not cheap though, $8.50 for a pint of Squire’s Pale.
If you like your bars intimate, and lord knows I do, it’s worth a look.
