Bogus Banknotes In Circulation

when they were phasing out the old notes, my friend and I made 2 copies of each old note (just to see how well we could do it, and test out his fathers new scanner).
Crumpled them up and made them all old/used looking etc..
A third party stole a few somehow, next thing we went to his house after school one day and the whole of the federal anti-counterfit squad had flown into Canberra and were sitting at his house waiting to crack some major operation – only to find some 16yo kids.
Anyways, they said it was the best job they’d ever seen, but it was obvious that we were’nt serious. (with the $2 notes and all) so we just got a good talking to.

Point being, you’d have to be stoopid to try to spend fake money – carries one of the harshest penalties (its treason, on top of fraud etc..)

Find a friend who has a (preferably short haired) male dog that hasn’t been desexed and ask them if you can stare for a moment.
They’re a fairly prominent cluster.

Not quite the same gonad-bodysize ratio as male rat, but still quite noticable.

I… see.

Caf, next time you see a dog, have a look at how prominent his balls are when you view him from behind – they do tend to stand out somewhat.

More so on short haired dogs!

Its only the Baby Boomers cashed up with paid-off houses that need to worry about this. The rest of us are lucky if we get out hands on a $20 note.

The media release was of pretty sub-par quality, I’d agree there.
White features on a white background don’t stand out so well.
But considering that no local media (except us) seems to have picked up on it, maybe they have a work experience boy\girl they’re willing to blame?

And whoever was doing the counterfeiting really ought to quality check their proofs before giving the go ahead, the backwards Southern Cross made of stars drawn by five-year-olds was the first thing I noticed on it, as it sticks out like dogs balls.
