I’m looking forward to sharing a cab with a lovely bunch Mooseheads patrons at 4am… Surely the answer is more than one taxi-rank on that side of the city so the skanks, hoes and hussys can be seperated from the rest of us?

The ACT Government has launched a 12 month trial of its new Nightlink taxi service in Canberra’s city centre.
From tomorrow, the service will be available from a specially designed rank at the bus interchange in Civic on Friday and Saturday nights between midnight and 6:00am AEDT.
ACT Territory and Municipal Services Minister John Hargreaves says fares will be based on a zone system according to different areas around Canberra.
“A group fare, for example going to parts of Belconnen will be say $35, if everybody goes to the same address.
“If there are a series of addresses then people will pay an individual fare for that, but it will still be less than jumping into a single cab by yourself.”
Mr Hargreaves says if the trial is successful, Nightlink may be expanded to popular nightspots in Dickson, Manuka and Kingston and Woden.
