ACTEW have made a statement on the impacts of the floods on the Enlarged Cotter Dam construction site which so spectacularly overflowed at the start of March.
Basically work is going to start again on 5 May, much earlier than anticipated and the whole business has cost ACTEW $17 million of which they’re insured for roughly $9 mil.
The whole shebang to be finished for $405 million compared to the planned $363 million.
