Scotty and Nige v. Jorian? [With Poll]

Noticed something amusing on the ABC 666 Facebook thingy the other day. They put up a photo of someone’s silverbeet, asking for help identifying what was eating a listener’s silverbeet plants, and this Jorian Gardner chap fired back “Ross Solly”.

Well, I laughed.

I listen to radio for music, not to hear some pinhead(s) laughing at the consistency of kim kardaschaian’s (sic) turds. 2CA will do just fine.

I believe from an announcement today re a new business venture that Jorian is very much having the last laugh …

The Riot Act, and Canberra in general, has reached a new low where we care about a petty internet argument between 3 nobodies that I’ve never heard of.

I don’t think it’s very PC to say this any more… but arguing on the internet is still like the special olympics – even if you win, you’re still retarded.

Where’s the “In this we all lose” option? Jorian strikes me as such an unbelievable wanker, and very bitter. In all fairness though, Scotty & Nige are complete tools (of the mainstream music industry) and they do shamelessly whore themselves out to the lowest common denominator. I can understand Jorian’s resentment, even if I don’t particularly sympathise with him.

Methinks Jorian doth protest too much about not caring that he doesn’t work in radio anymore.

S&N’s responses don’t make much sense though (big surprise) – why does he need to work in radio for his opinion to be given validity? He thinks they’re crap. Oh well, pretty sure they would get told that 100 times a day. If I was S&N I would simply have gone with a “Who are you??”.

In one corner you have a couple of blokes who are low enough level to get the majority of FM listeners.

And in the other you have a guy who is so far up his own behind, he retweets Chris Murphy for goodness sake.

Well being on commercial FM radio, you get paid to be whatever your producers want you to be. It’s not news radio.

Alternatively you’re on AM radio.. Something that was out of date sometime in the 80s.. You act like you’re a tool, because you’re a tool and keep getting fired from jobs you virtually only have to turn up to keep.. Still hasn’t learnt to keep his mouth shut..

There’s not much to win from this one, but Jorian still isn’t a winner.

My Dad always said you should take people as you find em, he also said if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it’s probably a duck. With that in mind I find it hard to believe that Mr Gardner is anything but an overblown self important twat! Well from what I have heard them talk about games on air, they pretty much are only into fps shoot terrorists in the face don’t get me wrong, that has a place but Japanese games is what I’m all about.

And yeah they seem like nice guys, but just out on the Internet stuff way to hard.
