ACT Child Sex Offender Register Not the Solution?

By che - 8 April 2005 6

The ABC have this story about the proposed ACT Child Sex Offender register with ACT Barrister Jennifer Saunders saying that a register may not be the solution as there is no quick fix to the problem.

What do you do with child sex offenders who actually survive the horror that they get put thru in prison? They could always join NAMBLA. Or they could go for chemical castration.

What’s Your opinion?

That NAMBLA is too too wrong. A child register being a quick fix? Huh? Is she smoking crack or what? No quick fixes, so do nothing at all. That sure sounds like the best remedy. Pigs ass it does!

I thought South Park had just made it up, and there was no way I was visiting that site.

Well, I had no idea it existed till you posted it. It was using suspect language, then I hit the ‘abolish age of consent laws’ line and I freaked right out of my fucking skull.

Ask the ubiquitous Ms. Saunders how her ‘strike rate’ in the local courts are going. They follow the line of her rhetoric, pithy and irrelevant.

Well Ms. Saunders what do you suggest, a cup of Milo and a tummy rub? Leave the criminal stuff to those that live in reality

I like the Chinese system – 1 bullet and then bill the family for it.
