Adventure Paintball rd 4

By kieran AP - 30 October 2006 2

Round 4 of the Adventure Paintball series was run and won on the weekend.

The first day of daylight savings proved an interesting choice with many ‘forgot to change the clocks’ causing sleep ins!

Lots of fun was had by all including the first (nearly) all female team, the Widows, resplendent in a hot pink jersey! A highlight for most was a visit from the Red Bull girls with some players finding that too many red bulls is never enough!

The day was taken out by the ‘ Mighty mighty copperhead y fronts’ (featuring RA’s very own blamemonkey), with perpetual bridesmaids the Tits and also last start winners the Jonnys filling the minor placings.

Thanks to all involved for a great day. Next tourney will be a twilight tourney under lights on a Saturday night (date tbc). Check for details.

Did you yell “hit”. Yelling out “hit” and standing up with your marker in the air indicates you are hit. Once you are “hit”, you are nuetral. People that shoot you after you are “hit” get penalised.

Last time I did paintball it was a work training day. In the last scenario it was the ‘free for all’ where you let rip with what you had left. I ran out very early and the other 4 guys with a ton of rounds left then proceeded to stitch me up with reckless abandon.

At one stage I was caught out in the open trying to escape and was cornered. Once the fleshier parts of my body were being accurately and repetitively targeted it was the closest I have come to bursting into tears in my adult life. Christ it hurt
