Andrew Leigh elected a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences

By johnboy 27 October 2011 4

Member for Fraser Andrew Leigh has blogged of his election as a fellow to the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia (ASSA).

An unusual honour for a sitting member of Parliament. But he’s an unusual MP.

UPDATE: In other news Andrew is letting you know he’s now adding PA loans to his popular marquee service and is also offering free advertising to community groups in his taxpayer funded “Leigh Report”.

justin heywood: If you look at the date on the articles, you’ll see that a bunch of old threads are being exhumed by commenters with an axe to grind.

As a Labor MP in a firm Labor seat it’s good to see him doing more than polishing the seat of his leather office chair.

Obviously I missed the memo johnboy, but what’s with fascination with Andrew Leigh?

Is bromance in the air?

I may like to advertise for a fully functional MP who is transparent and accountable to his electorate!
