Designed by Canberra architect Tony Trobe, 23 Brennan Street in Hackett has spectacular street presence that’s more than exceeded by its stunning interior – everything has been thought of.

With four spacious bedrooms, three luxurious bathrooms and space for three cars, it’s the perfect home for families or executives who want room to move.

Luton sales consultant Miriana Cavic says the house is one to get excited about.

“We have had plenty of people wanting to come and check out this one purely because they love the work of the architect,” Miriana says.

“It’s so full of light, the windows are huge and the area is just so picturesque that even a rainy day will feel beautiful inside.”

The house was completed in the past year and has never been lived in.

“A lot of the people who have come through have actually said they don’t want to leave because it’s so beautiful.”

Walking up to the home, the first thing you will notice is the sublime mix of materials – especially the huge windows – that make it a unique and welcoming property.

An inviting open-plan living and dining room backs onto every cook’s dream kitchen.

With a large island marble bench with waterfall edges, marble splashback and quality Asko appliances, including a 900 mm cooktop, two ovens and plenty of storage, it’s a kitchen that blends style and practicality in equal measure.

For the warmer days spent by the sparkling plunge pool, there is a luxurious outdoor timber deck area located through glass sliding doors, making entertaining year-round a delight.

A large multipurpose room is perfect for anything from a home theatre to a gym or a home office.

The ground floor features the beautiful master bedroom, complete with its own private patio, a beautifully designed ensuite and dual walk-in robes.

Upstairs, the remaining three bedrooms have stunning views of Mt Majura.

Servicing the upstairs bedrooms is the main bathroom featuring floor-to-ceiling tiles, custom wall-hung vanity units, stone benchtops and quality tapware.

The kitchen overlooks Brennan Park, meaning you can watch the kids play around while getting your own chores done (and there are no lawns to mow!)

The house is also conveniently located. It’s a mere five-minute drive to the city and it’s close to Mt Majura, Mt Ainslie and the Dickson shopping precinct.

Miriana says the unique design is perfect for entertainers and families, or could even become a share house.

“It’s just so new and versatile, so low maintenance – you could really turn it into any kind of house you like.”

Why are new houses so energy inefficient with wasteful downlights in the eaves. Downlights inside are bad enough, but eave downlights ar we just “look at me” with nil benefits.
