No, a car ran into the front windows of the restaurant.

There was a fire in the Asian grocery store next to it a while back and there was some damage to the restaurant.

That must of been why I saw the ladder truck “fly” (I kept up with it the whole way-doing the speed limit) up Wentworth Ave/Kings Ave/Parkes Way this afternoon around 15:00ish.

“If this happened at midnight, why was the crane still there during daylight, it doesnt look like the buildings are high enough to require a crane for a long time to fight it.”

I don’t know dvaey – perhaps the Fire Brigade know a bit more about fire fighting and fire investigation than you do and there was a good reason for the crane to still be there. Either that or they went home after putting the fire out and forgot to put their toys away….
